Ayla

Hi y'all, my name is Ayla,  Texan born mother of 4 boys and 1 girl. I moved to Israel at the age of 18 on her own and there met my husband. Together we made our home in the pastoral moshav of Natur which is a mixed population of religous and secular families, building a diverse and supportive community. I have  always loved medicine and holistic healing. I studied Nursing in Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem and after 10 years fulfilled  a dream and became a Midwife and Lactation Consultant. I  created  Atufah which includes my holistic services as a nurse midwife and a gamach providing medicine, inhalation devices, nursing pumps, essential oil diffusers and other supplies when needed by friends and neighbors when clinics are not open. I also practices BOT which is birth oriented therapy, listening and providing support to prepare for birth, discuss past traumatic birth, and as a general life coach. I am a Soubada practitioner for children from birth to adolescence supporting fertility and menopause as a strong believer in preventitive medicine combining aromatherapy and crystals in holistic massage and healing to strengthen and support the body bringing it to optimum health physically and spiritually. In addition I ama  Bodeket Tahara and can be consulted for family purity issues as well as discussion sexuality questions of new brides.

Birthing Guidance

Here for You

Get extra personal support throughout the entirety of your birthing journey. As a Midwife, I promise to offer unwavering support to you and your family before, during, and after birth. I will stay in close contact in order to routinely check how you’re doing and offer anything needed.

I met Ayla for the first time just before my first birth, at 36 weeks when I had a medical problem that I didn't know what to do with. I turned to Ayla and she gently, sensitively and professionally explained to me and recommended continued treatment, which greatly eased and helped with the problem. Later, in a very advanced week, she was my professional answer to every question, big and small, in the context of the birth. Even after giving birth, I used these many times, in the context of breastfeeding, postpartum symptoms. Questions, concerns and doubts that came to me and I needed a professional and humane factor to help him. Even in the context of my daughter, I found an answer and a listening ear from them. All this while listening, sensitivity and explanations in such a pleasant, inclusive and in accordance with my needs.

Highly recommend the lovely Ayla 😊
